Information about Kayley

As a qualified Solicitor practicing in house for a university in south-east London I am able to offer tutoring across a range of legal topics and academic levels. Having studied A level law, an LLB law degree and a Professional Diploma in Legal Practice I am well placed to support students at any stage of their legal academic career. For students wanting to enter a career in law in the current climate, achieving top grades is essential. I am committed to ensuring those who want to enter the legal profession have the best opportunities to do so, in particular because my own path to qualification was not standard.

Availability: I am available during the evening throughout the week, and at the weekend.

Willing to travel: 10 miles

Experience: My teaching experience was gained working for summer school providers in the UK.

My legal experience is as follows:
A Level law completed in 2006, LLB(Hons) Law degree completed in 2009 and my Professional Diploma in Legal Practice was awarded in 2013.

In addition to my academic background, I have nearly 10 years` worth of experience working in the university sector- more recently as Associate Director of Immigration & Legal Services. As a qualified Solicitor, specialising in education, immigration and public/administrative law I have a breadth of legal knowledge and business acumen which can benefit students at all levels. My knowledge of universities (both as a student and as an employee) is incredibly broad, and includes substantial knowledge and experience of university admissions processes. I am able to offer a rounded tuition service, initially focussing on the technical knowledge required to do well at any academic level and expanding to include tuition and support relating to university applications and entering the legal profession if applicable.
