I have a 2.1 Honours degree in French, German and Spanish.
I am fluent in German and French and have studied Spanish at university to equivalent to A Level.
I have the Certificate in Education and have taught in secondary schools, in adult education and as a private tutor.
I have had much success in tutoring students for GCSE on a one to one basis, giving them the confidence to enjoy learning another language and the rewards which go with it.
I have excellent feedback from past students and have been on Tutor Hunt for nearly 5 years.
Availability: Monday: 2pm - 6.30pm
Tuesday: 2pm - 6.30pm
Wednesday: 2pm - 6.30pm
Thursday: 2pm - 6.30pm
Friday: 9pm - 5pm

Barbara has been excellent so far. She has a very calm, patient manner and my son thinks she has taught him a lot in the relatively short amount of time. It has really improved his confidence as he prepares for his GCSEs.

Barbara is kind, friendly and she gets on really well with my daughter. She has really helped to build her confidence particularly with speaking. My daughter is studying A Level French and Barbara is always willing to help with whatever she feels she needs assistance with.
