I am an experienced and enthusiastic qualified teacher with a broad knowledge of both pure and applied mathematics. I have taught in Sixth Form Colleges for the past 8 years, and I am currently the Teacher in Charge of A Level Maths at a prestigious Sixth Form college in Islington.

Experience: I currently teach the Edexcel A Level syllabus and OCR GCSE but through teaching on `Justin Craig` Tuition Courses I have taught all current UK syllabi including AQA and OCR MEI. I have extensive knowledge of the recently introduced 9-1 GCSE mathematics curriculum and the new linear A Level content.

The modules I have taught on the legacy qualification are C1, C2, C3, C4, M1, M2, M3, S1, S2, FP1, FP2 and FP3 and I enjoyed teaching the first year of the new linear A Level.

I also have had experience teaching Physics A Level and it`s a subject I am particularly interested in and enjoy teaching.

My teaching of maths extends beyond the curriculum; I organise the extra curricular program at the college and run Maths Challenge enrichment using materials from the UKMT competitions whose materials are good fun and excellent for developing problem-solving skills. I also organise trips to and lectures at the college from universities around the country to help develop a broader understanding of mathematics.

I completed my BSc in Mathematics at the University of East Anglia, followed by a PGCE from Canterbury Christchurch University and have completed extensive professional development to further my knowledge in maths education.
