I am a caring and patient qualified teacher with over 7 years experience. I have a breath of classroom experience, having worked with a wide range of students including those with special educational needs. Since 2018 I have been tutoring both Face to Face and Online, I always tailor the level of work covered to the individual student’s needs. To develop both their self-confidence and attainment levels. I am really enjoying supporting my students to reach their potential.

I can offer 1:1 online tuition according to my clients needs. Offering tuition in the following subjects:
• Early Years, KS1 and KS2 - Maths, English (Phonics, Reading, Handwriting and SPAG) and Science.
• KS3 - Maths and Science
• KS4/GCSEs - Maths (Foundation Level) and Biology *New for September 2020*

I also offer Test Preparation for:
Year 1 - Phonics screening,
Year 4 - Time Tables,
Year 2 and Year 6 - KS1 and KS2 SATS. Focusing on exam technique, building confidence and covering any areas of the Maths and English curriculum required to enable to the child to complete SATS confidently.
I can also offer Transition to Secondary tuition for children who lack confidence or have gaps in their learning from their time in Year 6, to enable them to reach their potential in Year 7.
From September 2020 I can also offer GCSE Maths (Foundation level) and GCSE Biology exam preparation.

Currently due to COVID and social distancing restrictions; I offer 1:1 Tuition Online using Skype and/or Zoom and bitpaper. By using bitpaper all lessons are available to review by the student at any time, it works as an online workbook.

I am generally available Monday - Thursday during the day, also evenings till 8pm.

I am also available on Saturdays from 9am - 5pm

When I am fully booked, I do operate a waiting list, as there are times of the year when students come to the end of their tuition (May after KS2 SAT`s and June after GCSE`s). Places (each new academic year and mid-year) are allocated first to existing students and then to students on that year’s waiting list (in the order they were placed on the waiting list).

During the first lesson I assess your child`s needs through activities and discussion with yourself and your child. I tailor lessons to the child`s needs and to reflect their interests, I like to include games and practical activities whenever possible. I continually assess progress to determine next steps in their learning. I look forward to working with you and your child. To help your child to become a confident and happy learner.
