I am a qualified and experienced Maths teacher. I have been a private tutor for over seven years after leaving my previous position as a Head of Maths in a Kent school to start a family. During my time there I helped students meet and exceed target grades in key stages 3,4 and 5.
I have found that students benefit greatly from some one-to-one time as it enables them to really tackle their misconceptions. Confidence is important and building it is the key to helping with understanding.
I am confident in tutoring Maths for KS3, GCSE and A-Level.
I charge £35 an hour for KS3 and KS4 and £50 for A-Level.
Availability: Tuesday evening Saturday
Willing to travel: 4 miles
Experience: I have been teaching for over 14 years and was the leader of a successful Maths department for 4 years. I have been tutoring for over 7 years full time.
