Currently a third year undergraduate student studying Mathematics at the University of Bath. I have achieved A* in Mathematics and Further Mathematics at A level. Having been to a grammar school, I remember what it was like to be studying for the 11+ and, I can somewhat relate to the possible stress and pressure students face these days. I hope I can mentor the students well by balancing a firm but friendly attitude, and aim to always bring the best out of them by making them feel confident in their abilities. I believe I am very passionate about learning and also intrigued in the various ways people learn and work, as each and every individual have a different learning style and pace.

Availability: Free any evening after 5 on weekdays and free any time on the weekend.

Experience: I have worked as a Part time tutor at a local tuition centre where I taught small groups of classes. I am also a Peer mentor in Mathematics at my current university. I have had experience at school where I have mentored younger children, which involved helping small groups of students with tricky maths problems and running a few presentations in interesting areas of Mathematics outside of the curriculum. Also from being a Humanities Prefect at my previous school, I have taken part in creating small lunch time events which were both recreational and educational, such as organising a Murder Mystery Event or an Easter Egg Hunt. From these experiences I have learnt how to guide and motivate younger students.
