I am a Secondary Maths Teacher from Prescot. I am in my tenth year of teaching and second in department in a secondary school in St Helens. As second in department I am responsible for writing the schemes of work and ensuring that it is up to date. Therefore my subject knowledge is excellent and my teaching is tailored to the exam specification. During my first year of teaching I taught year 11 set 1 and made 4 levels of progress on average in one year. Last year I taught a C/D borderline class who were predicted grade D`s. 87% of the class exceeded their target level and got C`s. My style of teaching is adapted to each individual to ensure that each student reaches their potential. I also will work on students exam technique to ensure that they achieve as many marks as possible.

KS2 - £30 per hour
KS3 - £35 per hour
KS4 - £40 per hour

Availability: After 3pm and weekends

Experience: I am a teacher with four years experience in an OFSTED rated "Good with Outstanding features" school. My approach to teaching is to address basic numerical skills in order to create an understanding of more complex topics and then applying this knowledge to exam style questions.
