I am a fully qualified Spanish teacher with 12 years teaching experience in the UK in sixth form colleges teaching AS and A level. I have also worked as a moderator for Spanish GCSE examinations.

I lived in Spain for three years and I speak Spanish fluently. I am passionate about the language and enjoy sharing my interest in Spanish with my students. As I had to learn the language myself, I am very aware of the problems English speakers face when learning Spanish and am confident in my ability to address these issues. I have worked with students of all ages and many different levels and have had a great deal of success in motivating and getting the best out of my students.

Availability: I am available Wednesday, Thursday and Friday afternoons and Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings.

Experience: I have 12 years experience teaching Spanish in 6th form colleges in the UK. I teach mainly AS and A level Spanish and have been course leader on both courses for 10 years. I currently teach the OCR A level syllabus but am also familiar with other exam boards. I have taught GCSE Spanish and have worked as a moderator for the GCSE oral examinations for AQA. In addition, I teach beginners Spanish at NVQ level 1 and NVQ level 2 as well as beginners courses in Holiday Spanish for adults.
