Information about Maria Luisa
Hola🙂;
My name is Maria, and if you`re looking to learn Spanish a beautiful and expressive language in a fun and engaging way, I`m here to help!
With a strong passion for teaching, I believe I have the necessary skills and qualifications to guide you in your language journey. One of the most rewarding aspects of my work is watching my students progress from the basics to confidently holding fluent conversations in Spanish.
I have extensive experience teaching Spanish across various levels and contexts. My teaching approach is warm, friendly, and interactive, making learning both enjoyable and effective. I believe that learning a language is not only about mastering grammar and vocabulary but also about exploring different cultures and having fun in the process.
In my lessons, I incorporate cultural insights to prepare students who may be traveling to South America or Spain, ensuring they feel comfortable communicating with native speakers. I am also experienced in teaching business Spanish, and I work with students of all ages children, teens, and adults alike.
Availability: Monday to Saturday. 9:00 am to 9:00 pm.
Willing to travel: 50 miles
Experience:
I hold a First-Class Honours degree in Journalism and Social Communication, and I have also completed teacher training at the Council of Europe. Recently, I finished my Master`s degree in International Teaching of the Spanish Language and Culture at the Pontifical University of Salamanca in Spain.
In addition, I am certified as an Examiner according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), which covers the teaching, learning, and assessment of languages across its defined levels. I am also accredited to assess students for the DELE (Diploma of Spanish as a Foreign Language) exam, the official diploma issued by the Spanish government.
This accreditation is particularly valuable for students who need the DELE certification for academic or professional purposes, as it provides an official standard for Spanish language proficiency.
