I am an organised and hard-working science teacher. I have experience teaching GCSE Science (Triple and Combined) and A Level biology. Colleagues would describe me as being very enthusiastic and energetic during my lessons which I always try to make interesting while also focusing on using lots of past paper questions and improving exam technique. I believe in challenging and pushing students in order to achieve their maximum potential; I do this by creating strong relationships with students and encouraging them to challenge themselves, particularly in their weaker areas.

After graduating from Lancaster University (rated as a top 10 university in all three league tables) with a 2:1 in Biological Sciences, I moved to Madrid for two years to teach English where I gained my first experience in tutoring. I then completed my PGCE (rated as an outstanding teacher) in Cornwall in 2017. Since this I have taught science in the Somerset area at KS3, KS4 and KS5. I have tutored several students in previous years at both GCSE and A Level. All students have achieved their target grades or above.
