Information about Charlotte
Recently graduated first class History MA student with English minors from a top 5 UK University (St Andrews, Scotland). Consistent A* English grades achieved. I am a friendly, personable tutor with a sterling academic record (9A* GCSE, A*AA A Levels). I love working with my students to build their confidence in the relevant subject and increase their ability to critically and articulately handle source material. Praising strong areas and identifying the weaker spots, I aim to bring a greater understanding of exam board requirements into their work. Please feel free to contact me to see how we can work together!

Wow! THANK YOU for putting so much effort into the lesson and taking time to write such detailed feedback. Its super helpful for me and also for Rose. And its always nice when your work is noticed and appreciated so she will be so pleased to hear this.

Previous experience includes my role as assistant youth group leader for children between 11-16. Focusing on a mixture of social, recreational and literary education, my role was centred around building a strong personal relationship with each individual. Not only did this help tailor their own development, but also really helped increase their confidence.
During my studies, I took part in both History and English mentoring programmes. I worked with three mentees, with a focus on breaking down course content and reading over essays together. This collaborative approach increased average results by one grade bracket.

Charlotte is such a wonderful teacher. In my short time knowing her, she has been able to push me to the level and even beyond I need to do in the exams and has been so much help in terms of structuring essays and building on my skills. A very friendly person and so easy to talk to. I would recommend her to anyone in the near future.
