I am a private tutor and secondary school learning support assistant with a 1st in English Literature and Creative Writing from Roehampton University. I teach GCSE and A-level English, both Literature and Language.

My subject is my passion and as a tutor I focus on encouraging the kind of imaginative and critical thought necessary for the highest grades in English. However I also believe in working with each student to identify their individual goals and needs, and tailoring the tuition to suit.

Availability: During school holidays: available during the day on weekdays

During term time: available Tuesday and Thursday evenings with some weekend availability on request

Willing to travel: 5 miles

Experience: I have been working in education for over five years, both as a private tutor and as a learning support assistant in secondary schools and sixth form colleges. I have also worked for an awarding body, and have been teaching in a rather different context - martial arts schools - for eight years.
