About me
Hi, I’m Atiyah! I am currently in my final year of University studying Radiotherapy and Oncology. I have over 5 years worth of tutoring experience and I understand how important determination and devotion to studying is for success. Recently I managed to help boost one of my GCSE student’s grades from Cs in Biology, Chemistry and Physics to an A* in both Biology and Chemistry and an A in physics. I find fulfilment in motivating my students to achieve their full potential and for this reason teaching has always been a great passion of mine.

What do I tutor?
-Key Stage 2
-Preparation for year 6 SATs exams
-English, Mathematics and Science up to GCSE level

Methods
-Tailored lessons based on student needs and exam board specification
-I make structured study plans with each of my students, specific to their learning needs
-To reinforce learning and make sure my students are well prepared I give them many practice questions
-I also provide my students with a variety of effective revision techniques and exam strategies to help them achieve their best

Where do I tutor?
I live in Leytonstone and currently tutor all my students in a quiet study room in my house. However, I am willing to travel depending on the location.

Availability: Evenings on weekdays and weekends

Willing to travel: 3 miles

Experience: Over 5 years teaching experience (worked in a tuition centre for one year and been private tutoring for the past 5 years).
