Hi I`m Emily and I will be completing my third and final year at Imperial College London studying Biological Sciences during the upcoming academic year (2018/19). I`ve always had a passion for science, leading me to achieve A*s in Biology, Chemistry and Physics A levels, prior to this i achieved 11A*s and 1A at GCSE level. During my first two years at Imperial I have studied a taken a wide range of modules from Virology to Ecology giving me a broad understanding of the Biological field. I aspire to undertake a PGCE after completing my undergraduate degree therefore, tutoring provides me with the opportunity to practice my teaching skills as well as planning effective teaching sessions.

I am a friendly, dedicated and organised individual, who will apply an enthusiastic approach to teaching. I will ensure students fully understand the content of the syllabus but also develop a genuine interest in the subject.

Availability: Until the upcoming academic year commences my hours are very flexible. I am free during weekdays and weekends and happy to do morning/ afternoon/ evening sessions.

Willing to travel: Home Only

Experience: I helped found and run a science and maths tutoring scheme throughout my sixth form, which was targeted at GCSE students struggling with the course content.
During my second year at Imperial I have been a part of the `Mums and Dads` scheme. This is a departmental scheme aimed to provide support to first year students struggling with coursework, as well as offering support during the revision period.
