I am a friendly and approachable, qualified teacher with over 9 years of teaching and tutoring experience. I believe in forging a tutoring experience that will be enjoyable for the student and build all the skills necessary to pass exams with the highest grades possible. I specialise in Creative Writing and GCSE English Language, so I am particularly good at sparking imaginations and improving writing skills. I have also worked as an examiner/coursework moderator for several years, so I know exactly what the exam boards are looking for when it comes to passing the GCSE English exams and improving grades. I have managed to transform grade 2 achieving students into grade 6 students in the space of a year, but have also managed to convert grade 6 students into grade 9 students!

9 years experience teaching English Language and Literature at GCSE and iGCSE. Tutoring experience and comprehensive experience of the new GCSE syllabus (1-9) for both language and literature.
I had the highest pass rates in my college for GCSE students, and a 100% pass rate for my 2nd year students on A level courses that I taught.
I have tutored multiple private students, all with very successful outcomes (testimonies/reviews can be provided if necessary).
