I am going into my third year of studying a Masters degree in Chemical Engineering at the University of Bath. Having a natural passion and perseverance for Mathematics and the sciences throughout school and college is ultimately what led to my choice of degree at a university ranked in the top 5 in the country. I am a honest, easy going and understanding individual with extensive experience in working with people with a variety of abilities and backgrounds. I was awarded 4 A*s and 5 As at GCSE and A*AA at A level in Maths, Further Maths and Chemistry respectively. In Maths A level, I achieved an average of 95% across my core modules (C1, C2, C3, C4) with 100% in C4. I am also fully DBS checked. I can provide tuition in both Maths and Further maths but please do let me know of the specific modules required.

I believe the most efficient way to approach mathematics is to constantly test yourself throughout your learning. Therefore I aim to go through exam style questions after clarifying mathematical concepts beforehand. I will also try to get a hold of the revision guide specific to the exam board and tailor my tutoring from it, as topics covered can vary between exam boards. Adapting myself to other people`s pace is one of my strengths, therefore I insist on my students to ask me questions whenever they are unsure on a topic regardless of it`s complexity. I am also very happy to answer any questions outside of contact time via email. The absolute biggest resource available for revision is past exam papers, and I place extra importance on making sure students can complete them to the best of their abilities.

Experience: I have providing tutoring to two students, A level and GCSE, in the past few months. Also, during my gap year, I provided maths tuition to a friend who was also on his gap year who wanted to resit his A2 modules to improve to an A* and join his desired university. I aided him in fully understanding mathematical concepts and perfecting his exam technique which is essential for securing the higher grades. In the end he comfortably achieved that A* and is now studying Electrical Engineering at a world renowned university.
