I am a highly qualified teacher of secondary English and specialise in teaching ks3 and ks4. Having attained my PGCE in Secondary English in 2010, I have worked in secondary education for almost 8, years teaching at both ks3 level and GCSE. I am an exam marker for AQA and have experience of marking the new English GCSE specification. I gained experience teaching English as a foreign language in Poland and have subsequently tutored EAL learners. Additionally, I provide specialist literacy and English teaching at a local primary school on a weekly basis, raising attainment of year 6 students in preparation for the ks2 standardised tests. I also deliver CPD opportunities to primary teachers through a teaching school, centred on challenging able students in reading and writing.
