I am currently Head of Economics and Business at a leading boys independent school in Warwick, having spent a number of years as Head of Department at one of the top performing girls grammar schools in the country. I usually tutor 2 to 3 students each year in preparation for their A-Levels in either Economics or Business.

My wife is currently a Teacher of Mathematics at a leading boys` grammar school in Stratford upon Avon. The school is the highest performing school in the county and the Mathematics department is the most successful department within the school. My wife has taught at K.E.S for over 8 years and whilst there has successfully specialised in intervention sessions, specifically aimed at the A/B A-Level borderline.

My experience as a current senior examiner for OCR and AQA provides invaluable insights into successful exam techniques and all tutoring will be tailored to the appropriate exam board. Over the past 6 years, I have helped students from the following schools make significant progress towards their goals, whether that be achieving top grades to secure university places or progressing up through the grades after a difficult start with the subject:

Availability: I am available in the evenings and some daytime slots may be possible before September. I tend to do one hour sessions, but can do more intensive sessions if appropriate.

I run two, year-round tutoring slots which are charged at £75per hour. I also offer two to three additional tutoring slots in the run-up to the exams from February, which is charged at £100per hour. From March, an additional last-minute tutoring slot will be available, which will be charged at £120per hour. Anywhere further than 5 miles from Stratford will incur an additional cost for travel time and mileage.

My wife will be running two tutoring slots in Mathematics running up to the June 2025 exams, charged at £75per hour. There may be the possibility of last minute tutoring slots for the June 2025 exams - please ask.
