Information about Aaron
Achieved a 1st class BSc (Hons) Secondary Education Mathematics degree at Edge Hill University as a mature student. Being a recent student has given me access to new and innovative lesson ideas with the backing of a recognised secondary education institution. I believe building confidence by developing a can-do maths attitude will unlock a student`s potential in maths.
Availability: Limited week nights as well as weekends to suit.
Due to family commitments, flexibility is required as there may be the need to switch days or times from week to week.
Willing to travel: 3 miles
Experience: Achieved scholarship award for first year of degree.
Have taught in schools in Runcorn and Winsford teaching at KS3, KS4 level and some experience at A-level too.
My current role is at a school in Widnes where I run KS4 and will be taking responsibility for the maths department from September 2016.
I have tutored four students through to GCSE (3 grade C from grade D on Higher, one other achieved D from grade F starting point). I am currently tutoring 3 students and each are showing good progress.

Great tutor. Helped boost my daughter`s confidence and push for the top grades. Was able to identify weak areas to concentrate on, explained concepts really well and offered great ideas on revision.

Aaron has made a huge impact on our son in both his attitude and his learning. We are so grateful to Aaron for how he handles our son and the learning he is proving. He is helping our son pick up different techniques and helping him gain more confidence which is something he really lacked. Our son was not warm to tutoring so Aaron had a challenge on his hands from the start. However from the first appointment Aaron struck up a great teacher / student relationship and our son now looks forward to learning which is a huge turn around. Thank you so much Aaron, we really appreciate your time and effort and we know our son does too and he thinks very highly of you.

We are extremely happy with Aaron`s approach. In the few weeks that Aaron has has been teaching my daughter, we have seen a huge boost in her confidence. She is much happeir tackling maths problems.
