Information about Phil
I have been teaching in large secondary schools in Milton Keynes and Northampton for a number of years before setting up my own 1:1 tutoring company. I have been teaching over ten years and like to make learning fun and professional. I have taught the syllabi for all the major exam boards and marked for them too. I have just retired from playing rugby regularly and enjoy being active. I like to establish targets and learning plans for tutor and learner to make sure both parties get as much as possible from the experience. I have now been tutoring online for 6 years with great success. Last year all my tutees achieved great grades and those seeking university places got offered their top choices including one Oxford candidate.

Experience: I have been teaching for a number of years. while I specialise in History and Politics, I have also taught a range of humanities and social sciences across the secondary school age range. I am up to date with all the new changes to GCSE and Level and continue my CPD with the exam boards and inset courses. I have Taught in excess of ten years at KS 5 (A level), KS 4 (GCSE) and KS 3. I have worked with students vocationally and academically. I have vast experience not just in academic content but also in study skills and exam preparation as well as extended project and UCAS personal statements.
