As a qualified Boxing trainer with BoxEngland I have regularly taught BoxFit sessions with students of all ages. Information about Rob

I am a 36 year old tutor who is easy going and supportive but who also demands high standards of work and effort from my learners. I am orginally from Dudley in the West Midlands and moved to London 10 years ago and have lived predominently in South and West London.

I am interested in the arts and regularly attend the theatre and have a membership at the Tate Art gallery. I play several musical instruments and sing in a small band.

In addition to this I am a massive sports fan and follow Football, Cricket, Golf, NFL and Boxing. In addition to my arts tutoring I teach regular BoxFit sessions for teenagers and young adults and am a fully qualified boxing trainer with BoxEngland.

I play strategy games and have represented England twice at the European Team Championships for Warhammer 40000 winning the gold medal in 2012 and bronze in 2014.

Availability: I am available Monday to Friday. Daytimes and Evenings and also available on Saturday mornings.

Experience: I am a highly qualified and experienced teacher and tutor. I have worked in professional theatre for over 15 years. I have worked as a professional actor across Europe and North America and recently returned from a theatre tour working in major regional theatres in the USA which finished with performances in Manhattan, New York City. This tour also involved teaching masterclasses and workshops in major American colleges such as Notre Dame, Purdue, Missippi State and Texas A and M. These workshops focussed on physical theatre, Shakespeare and general acting.

My teaching and tutoring experience is varied and extensive. I am a fully qualified teacher in the lifelong learning sector having achieved a level 5 diploma in Education and Training (formerly DTTLS) in 2017. I have taught drama and acting in a variety of environments including private drama colleges and also mainstream FE colleges. I have also worked as a mentor for younger and less expereinced actors in community projects at the Hertford Theatre. I also work training adults as teachers for TRainAid education.
