With 30 years of Spanish teaching experience I am excited to be taking on new classes! I offer lessons to a wide range of learners and would love to support you on your Spanish speaking journey! I can teach from KS2 to KS5 along with adults wishing to learn as a hobby or professionally.
I have taught in an Outstanding school for 24 years which has equipped me to adapt to different age levels and abilities. I am trained and confident to teach the new GCSE specification starting in September 2025 after completing up to date courses. If you are learning A` level Spanish I used to be an examiner so I know what needs to be done to help you improve your grades. I have a good track record of successful 1-1 intervention for students struggling to achieve their target grades. I love building a rapport and watching them gain confidence and make progress. Most pupils I have tutored have gone up 2 grades in the final exam.
I have a passion for mentoring students with SEN needs. I have completed lots of courses on how to teach pupils with ASD, ADHD and Dyslexia. I have done a Mental Health First Aid skills course.
For adults I have previously run group sessions and 1-1 lessons which I can adapt to your interests to make Spanish relatable to your lifestyle. For professionals needing to reach a certain level I can use my business knowledge to support your language needs and help you gain confidence when speaking.
I worked in a local primary school for 12 years teaching pupils from 3-11. The lessons were great fun with lots of songs, games and reading activities.
I can teach online or face to face whichever suits you. I can help with mock exams and I offer a block of speaking sessions before exams to help with the final push to improve grades. I look forward to hearing from you.
