My name is Saima and I work as a science teacher, with experience in both state and independent education. I`ve been promoted to a Head of Science role early in my career because of my enthusiasm and drive.

I offer general science tuition (biology, chemistry, physics) to ages 8 to 16 remotely.

All lessons include ongoing access to a personalised Google Classroom with access to resources and weekly homework tasks.

I also offer a home-learning development program, designed for parents who are homeschooling their children. Over a few fixed sessions, I work with both students and parents to help create a customised home-learning plan. This is ideal for those seeking guidance in developing an online curriculum without the ongoing costs of regular tuition.

Ages 8 to 13: I`ve worked at a prep school as the Head of Science, so I`m experienced in tailoring learning for younger years and making science fun and enjoyable. With my experience as Head of KS3 Science, and working with primary-aged children, I have a unique insight into what lower years need in order to progress. I traditionally follow AQA Activate for KS3, but there is a lot of flexibility with this age group, whether they`re looking for ways to make science more enjoyable, or looking for challenges and progression to GCSE - I`m open to working with you and trying different resources (Oak National Academy, Twinkl, my own resources based on cognitive learning methods) to see what works best.

Ages 13+: I`m experienced in AQA, OCR, and Edexcel science GCSE specifications, and AQA A Level biology. I`m open to tailoring tuition so that it meets your needs and can be flexible each session - whether you`d just like a one off session to revise a certain topic or something that came up in a lesson that day, or long-term support to supplement your in-class learning. I use my own presentations and resources, with proven success from use in the classroom.
