My name is Paddy. I have a real passion for history, for teaching and for tutoring. I am a consistently outstanding Head of History with over a decade of experience in thriving schools. As a former A Level examiner I know exactly what exam boards are looking for and thus have an excellent track record of significantly improving attainment through tutoring. As a researcher, writer and podcaster I have a deep knowledge of the subject which I can apply to a vast range of Key Stage 5 topics.

Availability: I am available some weekday evenings and on Sunday evenings as well.

Experience: For seven years I worked as the Head of History in one of England`s only History-specialist academies in Westminster. During this time I achieved outstanding GCSE and A Levels results as both a classroom teacher and a head of department.
For the past six years I have been the Head of History in a leading Canterbury independent prep school. During this time I have served as a governor in setting up a new secondary school in south Kent. Additionally I serve as a trustee of a school in West Kent. I am also currently on the committee of the Canterbury branch of the Historical Association.
