I have long had an interest in learning and education; at university I volunteered with primary school children, helping them to improve their literacy skills on a weekly basis; taught RSE at multiple secondary schools and worked as a tutor. Since graduating from King`s College University with a 2:1, I have successfully completed the TeachFirst programme and graduated from Manchester University with a PGDE. I am now in my third year of working as a secondary school science teacher in Blackpool.

Availability: I am available in the evenings, from 6 onwards and some weekends.

Experience: I teach years 7-11 biology, physics and chemistry. I have experience working with students with a range of abilities and various special educational needs.

As a teacher, I have a lot of experience in communicating scientific concepts in a digestible and relatable way. Furthermore, I am aware of the importance of students` achieving mastery of scientific concepts, in helping to increase motivation, confidence and academic performance.
