I am a first time mum who has loved teaching for 6 years. I am hoping to change my profession to tutoring so I may stay at home to raise my daughter but still work teaching and impacting children’s lives positively.

Availability: Monday-Friday

Every Saturday 9-4.

Every Sunday 9-12.

Experience: I am a qualified Primary school teacher who trained and have worked in the UK teaching for 6 years. During my time teaching, I was very fortunate to become a Head of Year, Phonics Reading Leader and finally a Middle Leader who coached and mentored NQT`s and LSA`s accross 5 schools in an academy.

Through these leadership opportunities, I gained insight into creating and implementing action plans, conducting scrutinies and observations and how to deliver training and support to students in every year group. Due to working with high volumes of pupils with English as an Additional Language in my classes, I was lucky enough to attend Pie Corbett`s "Talk for Writing" training and this has aided me in helping these children show rapid progress in their Orcay and written outcomes.

Additionally, during my training year, I won the Chris Davidson Paine award 2013/2014 for Outstanding Primary Teaching at UEL. This taught me the importance of reflective practice and of being a life-long learner. As well as being a qualified teacher, I completed a course for Integrating Montessori Practice into the classroom to further develop my understanding of EYFS and Early Acquisition.

With my wealth of experience working with children from Nursery to Year 6; l am confident in helping all children progress and excel with a personalised approach to learning.
