I have taught Japanese for over 20 years. I use a variety of digital and print learning materials to suit my students` wishes and needs the best possible way. I have successfully prepared numerous students for their GCSE`s, A levels, IB, and university examinations in Japanese.
I studied in Japan on the Japanese Ministry of Education scholarship and have a university degree in teaching Japanese as well as JLPT Level 1. Currently a doctoral researcher at the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London, I also work at the JLPT exam in London.
I also tutor for GCSE, IB, and A-levels in Sociology and mentor undergraduate and postgraduate students for essays, dissertation and exams in Anthropology and Sociology. Please do get in touch about whatever help you may need: understanding social theory, academic writing, structuring your essay or thesis, managing your studies schedule, or dealing with stress and anxiety.
I have worked for Japanese multinationals and SMEs before my academic career and as a Certified Cross-Cultural Trainer I give workshops on various cultural aspects of dealing with Japanese people.

Artour has been teaching me Japanese at a beginner level, and has already been a huge help in keeping me moving forward.
He can teach in the style that best suits you. He can teach from a detailed grammatical approach or a more simplified natural approach. He can leave you to progress at your own pace, or push you to do your best if you think that`s what you need.
His lessons are very flexible and he is always ready to answer all of my questions. I recommend him very highly.
Fantastic tutor, really helpful and reliable. Great for learning languages :) worth the money
Very good job
