I qualified as a Primary Teacher with a BEd degree from Homerton College, Cambridge University and went on to teach in Cambridge and London schools before moving to Oxfordshire to raise a family. During this time, I studied for an MA in Children`s Book Illustration, gaining a Distinction in 2017 and my final project was shortlisted for both the 2017 World Illustration Awards and the Global Illustration Awards. I work frequently in schools to teach art, work with staff to enhance the schools provision of the arts and to lead community art projects. I am also a tutor at the Henley School of Art.

When I am not working in schools, I am doodling ideas for a new story, looking after our small menagerie of animals and cake baking!

Availability: I am available during the week, daytime and evenings and possibly some weekends if required.

Willing to travel: 5 miles

Experience: I have taught and tutored both primary and secondary school age children and currently run after school art groups in schools. I have worked with headteachers to develop the provision of Art and Design and have led creative sessions in both Art and Literacy across whole schools. As a freelance author/illustrator, I work with an agency on commissioned work and have led illustration workshops with children of all ages at literary festivals and school events. I offer individual and small group tutoring sessions in my home studio.
