Hello,

I`m Sophie, I`m 22 years old and I recently graduated from Cambridge University (BA Classics, 2022).

I offer online tutoring in Chemistry and Latin to GCSE level.

As a tutor, I am adaptable, patient and willing to go over things as many times as needed until you are sure you understand - repetition is the mother of all learning! I know that no one learns in the same way, whether that be through visual representations, mnemonics or testing, so I will always try to tailor lessons to your particular way of learning to ensure you are getting the most out of your time with me. I am hard-working and will carefully prepare the lesson in advance, keeping it varied, engaging and most importantly, relevant to you and your needs.

Availability: I`m available throughout the week and weekends, with a good deal of flexibility during the day. Let me know when would work best for you.

Experience: I achieved A*s in Chemistry and Latin at GCSE level. At A Level, I achieved an A in Chemistry and an A* in Latin.

I tutored my brother in GCSE Chemistry for a few evenings each week, in the 6 months leading up to his exams. He improved from a 4 to a 7. I am also currently working with a GCSE student on another online tutoring platform and this is going very well. With this student, I`ve been using a question-and-answer style approach, working through problems together and looking at exam technique.
