I am a third year student teacher with a BA(hons) in Primary Studies with Qualified Teacher Status (pending July 2020). I chose to specialise in the ages 3-7 but I am qualified to teach the 3 - 11 age group. With schools impending closure, I am happy to plan and execute learning experiences to support your child at their stage of development in order to best prepare them for returning to education when schools reopen in line with the English curriculum. I have a current enhanced DBS check. I am happy to care and educate for your child and friends` children in your own home, in order to enable you still to work in this uncertain time.

Availability: Weekdays 8.30 - 6.30

Willing to travel: 20 miles

Experience: I have worked with children from the age of 12 when I first started babysitting. Since then I have had many different roles before coming to teaching formally. My main roles in recent years were teaching sailing to the ages of 6 - adult, working as a high ropes course instructor for TreeTop Trek and working as a nursery nurse for Acorns Ltd. with children aged 0 - 4 years.

I personally believe in the value of play based learning and following children`s interests in order to enable them to reach their full potentially as I find this supports high levels of engagement.
