Information about Chris
I am a highly experienced and successful Teacher of saxophone, piano, theory and GCSE/A-level with over eight years experience teaching music up to A-level. My excellent subject knowledge is complimented by an excellent rapport with students and an ability to bring out the best in them. All my students passed at A-level with the majority getting A*, A or B. At GCSE level I have enjoyed an A.A pass rate of 65% which is well above the national average of 16%. I don`t a one-approach-fits-all and adapt what I do to the needs and personality of each student.
I`d be really happy to chat to anyone about how a programme of tutoring might work for your child.
I am now working for Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra finding ways to engage school-age children in music but continue to teach alongside this.
