Hi, my name is Kim, I am 56 years old and have recently taken early retirement from teaching English in Secondary schools in Doncaster. I have always found teaching enjoyable and hugely rewarding as I love to see students` confidence and self-belief grow as they progress and improve in their learning. Being an approachable and encouraging person I find students respond well to my teaching and make firm progress.

Availability: Daytime and evenings from Monday to Friday.

Willing to travel: 10 miles

Experience: I have been teaching English language and literature in secondary schools for the past 12 years. My present school, at which I have been teaching for the past 7 years, has been awarded `Outstanding` by Ofsted. I have also been employed as an examiner for various exam boards for the past 9 years which has involved marking English Language/Literature GCSE, KS2 (Year 6)end of year tests and Functional Skills.
In addition to the above I have experience in teaching Special Needs and several years experience of delivering private tuition to both primary and secondary students. I am quite happy to teach either on a 1:1 basis or with small groups.
