I am a current Bristol University Medical student and experienced orchestral oboist and soloist currently playing in several Bristol musical ensembles. I have always been extremely passionate about my music and deeply enjoy seeing ambitious players of any level develop into versatile and confident musicians. I am based around the Cotham area and am looking to do some private tutoring on oboe (and cor anglais). I am also offering some piano and cello teaching if desired.

Availability: Late afternoon/evenings and weekends - flexible.

Experience: I was trained by a former BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra principal oboist having received a music scholarship with a distinction in Grade 8 oboe at the age of 13. I later became principal of one of the National Youth Orchestras as well as playing principal oboe for several county orchestras. I am now an extremely proficient musician on all three instruments, performing regularly for various ensembles, previously specialising in pit bands for operas and musicals. I have previously taught oboe privately in Brighton and have been an English Language Teacher in Italy and Vietnam.
