Hello. I have just finished my PhD in Physical and Theoretical Chemistry at the University of Oxford. I have completed an undergraduate degree in Chemistry, and have A levels in Chemistry, Maths and Physics. I have been tutoring for 5 years from primary education to Undergraduate degree level. I am a hardworking and organised individual, who prides himself on doing the best job possible.

Availability: I am available to tutor during the weekday, weekday evenings and weekends.

Willing to travel: 12 miles

Experience: I have previous teaching experience, having taught Science in a secondary school, and tutored primary school students, GCSE, A level and undergraduate degree level Chemists. My approach to tutoring is collaborative, between the student and their family. It is essential that the sessions are student-led, with clear goals and session aims to provide a pathway towards a long term goal. I aim to create an environment that is conducive to learning, where the student doesn`t feel pressured, but rather, instilled with confidence to allow significant progression to be made. Weekly reports can be sent to parents detailing specifics covered in each lesson. I also recommend having termly meeting with parent(s) and student to discuss progress that has been made, and set achievable aims for the next term.
