100% of my students have achieved their goal grade. I am an enthusiastic teacher who enjoys using creative methods to make learning fun, however I do not shy away from traditional methods to meet the needs of my students. As an overseas trained teacher I have a vast knowledge of both British and Australian teaching styles and have selected a number that I feel best improve attainment, as well as instilling a love of learning. I am committed to developing the understanding of my students in a systematic and engaging way. I have been tutoring for 4 years, with all of my students achieving the grades they desired for either the 10+ or 11+ exams.

Experience: I am a fully qualified teacher who studied in Australia, where I attained my undergraduate and post-graduate degrees. My teaching experience started with 1 year of teaching Mathematics in an Australian high school and running educational holiday programs for Year 1-4, before a love of adventure took to me England. Once I moved here I fell in love with teaching the all the core academic subjects and being involved in helping children achieve breakthroughs in their learning. Currently I teach English and Maths in a prestigious independent preparatory school in the Croydon area, and know exactly what students need to know and do to achieve at both 10+ and 11+ level. Across my five years in this school I have taught students of all abilities and from Year 3 through to Year 8. This breadth of experience has allowed me to implement a range of different teaching strategies to help maximise their potential.
