I am an experienced and dedicated Head of Science and approved Examiner with a proven track record of raising attainment and inspiring students to achieve their full potential. I hold a BSc in Chemistry & Biotechnology, an MSc in Clinical Chemistry & Biomedical Science, a Postgraduate Diploma in Science Education, the National Award in Special Educational Needs Coordination, an NPQ in Leading Teaching, and an NPQ in Senior Leadership.
As an expert science educator, I am passionate about stretch and challenge to help high-attaining students secure top grades, while also providing tailored support for lower-attaining pupils to build confidence and achieve strong outcomes.
My tutoring style is flexible and responsive to each learner’s needs. I create engaging, supportive, and stimulating learning experiences that make complex scientific concepts accessible, meaningful, and enjoyable. My goal is not only to raise achievement but also to foster curiosity and a lasting love for science.

Availability: Wednesday to Friday 5pm-7pm

Experience: Over 13 years experience teaching Chemistry up to A levels and combined science to ages 11-19.
