Jacob

My name is Jacob, and I am currently a doctoral student at Oxford University. Having completed my Bachelor`s at Corpus Christi college, Cambridge, I moved to Wadham college, Oxford, to complete my MSt in Musicology. My current DPhil thesis centres on philosophy and phenomenology of voice. At Oxford, I also tutor in Christ Church, Trinity, St. John`s, Merton, University, St. Catherine`s, Queen`s, St. Hugh`s and Oriel colleges. I have also presented academic papers across England and the US, including Cambridge University and UC Berkeley.
While music is my main area of expertise, I am also highly proficient in English, French, and Latin, having achieved the equivalent of A*s in these subjects whilst at school, and continuing my studies in my spare time whilst at my subsequent universities.
Outside of academia, I have had several jobs in fashion, several writing jobs, and also as an events manager.

Should you decide to take me on as a tutor, I am sure we would be able to work together to achieving the results you desire, whether that be working towards exams, university placements, or improving skills in adult life.

Availability: As a doctoral student, my schedule is very flexible.
