I am friendly tutor with a passion for Science and working with young people. I am currently Studying my Physics degree at the University of Bristol. My long term goal is to do my teacher training and become a secondary school science teacher.

A big part of my life is Scouting, I have been a Scout leader for 3 years and thoroughly enjoy it. My Scouting role involves teaching young people lots of new skills in inventive ways as well as organizing loads of exciting events to give young people opportunities they would never have without Scouting.

Availability: Weekday evenings

Willing to travel: 10 miles

Experience: I have worked with young people between the ages of 6 and 18 and have learned how to communicate effectively with them. I have taught many Scouts lots of different skills throughout my time Scouting both in large groups and individually. I am approachable and enthusiastic about helping young people develop to their full potential.

I have also worked as a Science technician in a Secondary school so have experience working with young people in a School environment.

I like to be led by the tutee. If there is a particular subject they are struggling with I will go over the subject with them, or if they just want to practice a subject I will go through questions with them, explaining any parts they are not understanding and answering any questions they may have.
