I completed my degree in Mathematics and Theoretical Physics in 1991, I then went on to complete a PGCE at Homerton College Cambridge. I have enjoyed teaching both Mathematics and Physics in all my schools. I have been a Head of Physics and Head of Science for over 20 years in 3 different schools. I appreciate the difficulties students often find with Mathematics and Physics and have been successful in teaching the full range of abilities, looking constantly to generate an interest and boost confidence, often through dispelling myths and challenging stereotypes and providing a structured template to success, with a sense of fun and wonder.
