Hi everyone,
I am a practicing NHS doctor, having completed a graduate entry medicine course in 2017. Prior to this I gained first class honours in applied biomedical science.

My real passion is teaching, and I have honed my skills through the completion of the MMed Sci in medical education, from
which I graduated with distinction. I believe teaching is a skill and students deserve an educator who treats it as such. I have specifically completed modules on how to give effective feedback and how to support struggling students.

Within my day to day work I am involved with teaching in various formats including lectures, case based discussions, ward based teaching, simulation and role play. I enjoy OSCE practice and in particular developing student’s communication skills.

I have previously been involved in the development, delivery and assessment of OSCEs. I have also successfully worked with many students who have struggled to pass their OSCEs and have therefore attended additional, tailored tutoring.

I am available to support with OSCE skills, in a way that is tailored to you and your particular needs.

Experience: I am a former Graduate Entry Medicine student and have been a practicing NHS doctor since 2017.

I have experience in various medical specialities, surgery, general practice, paediatrics and obstetrics and gynaecology.

I also have a wealth of experience in medical equation, having worked as a teaching fellow since January 2020. I have been involved in the development and provision of OSCE assessments, as well as examining several OSCE stations. I have also been involved in working with and tutoring students preparing to resit their OSCE assessments.

I have completed a masters in medical education, which I passed with distinction.
