Experience: I have worked as a full time tutor teaching all three sciences and maths for a large part of the academic year 2013-2014. I taught a large number of students with a wide range of abilities, from several different age groups. Through my tutoring experience I have developed my ability to engage students and keep them interested in what they are learning, this is essential for learning effectively. I am good at explaining concepts in a way thats easier to understand. I am always patient with students who struggle to understand.
I try to boost students confidence, as often they do know more than they think they do! I try to teach them to apply their knowledge to exam style questions that they thought they could not do.
