I have 10 years experience of teaching English and am now moving into full time tutoring at my home in Oxenhope. My aim is to make students feel comfortable and to raise their confidence in their skills and ability to answer exam questions through working on practical methods of exam technique.
I offer a free pre-learning consultation to assess tutee`s needs and to be able to offer a bespoke service and mark homework and classwork regularly. I also offer parent consultations termly. I tutor in small groups of up to 5 as this creates an engaging and vibrant classroom environment; students can learn from eachother too!
Availability: Classes run Monday to Friday from 3.30 to 7. I also run 1-1 A level sessions from 8pm weekdays.

Experience: I trained at Roehampton University in London and then have taught for 9 years at Bingley Grammar School and one year at Parkside. I have taught all year groups and have been a second of department and head of A level English.
