I am passionate about English and the performing arts and love to see students thrive through creating new ideas. I believe that any creation should be founded on a strong understanding of the theory behind it and I love to nurture people`s passions. I have travelled and listened to music and dramatic performances from around the world and appreciate and enjoy the differences in communication and how music, drama and language can unite us.

Availability: I work as a tutor full time so am available to tutor during the day for home schooled students or sixth formers with free periods, and tutor evenings for students still attending school. I prefer to tutor from my home so that I can fit in more students and cut down on travel time, therefore if you require me to travel to your home this may incur a petrol charge, depending on your location. Please contact me for more information so that we can arrange a time to suit both of us.

Experience: I attended Forest Girls` School in Snaresbrook, a selective, high achieving independent school. I have a BA Hons degree in Music with English and Creative Writing from Lancaster University, as well as an MA in scri pt writing from the Central School of Speech and Drama and a PGCE in secondary Music. I have a total of 9 years teaching and working in schools. I was Head of Music at a small local secondary school and was more recently teaching Drama part time in another local school, however I have now moved to private tutoring full time and teaching Drama at a performing arts school on weekends.
