Information about Kristina
I am an experienced and successful History teacher and Head of History and Politics.
Many students find an intensive 3-6 lessons on exam technique very helpful. I can also offer more long term tutoring to help build confidence, knowledge and writing skills.
I trained and taught in English schools although I am now based in Scotland.
I can only offer evening tuition at the moment.
I am also an experienced GCSE and A Level examiner.
For Scottish students I offer tuition at all levels of the SQA exams.
I offer tuition for all GCSE exam boards including iGCSE. At A Level for edexcel only at the moment.
I am happy to provide a detailed parent consultation every five sessions free of charge, please let me know if you would like this.
I am a patient and positive teacher and see myself as a coach rather than an instructor.
Availability: I mainly tutor on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings 6:30-9:30. If you have another specific time in mind do let me know and I can work out whether I can accomodate this.

Kristina is very knowledgeable about history and our son enjoys his lessons with her and works hard on the assignments she gives him each week. She also provides valuable feedback and also materials for him to study between lessons. Since he started working with her, he studies more regularly and feels more confident. We hope with Kristina`s help he will do well on his history GCSE and develop a long-term appreciation of this subject.

Extremely professional,well structured pre planned lessons with useful notes. My son is finding Kristina`s lessons very useful and has grown in confidence in answering exam questions.

Kristina helps my daughter get ready for her GCSEs and like history as a subject. She teaches topics and helps with all kinds of hints necessary for successful passing the exams. She is a brilliant teacher!
