I am an experienced and successful History teacher and Head of History and Politics.

Many students find an intensive 3-6 lessons on exam technique very helpful. I can also offer more long term tutoring to help build confidence, knowledge and writing skills.

I trained and taught in English schools although I am now based in Scotland.

I am also an experienced GCSE and A Level examiner.

For Scottish students I offer tuition at all levels of the SQA exams.

I offer tuition for all GCSE and A level exam boards including iGCSE.

I am happy to provide a detailed parent consultation every five sessions free of charge, please let me know if you would like this.


I am a patient and positive teacher and see myself as a coach rather than an instructor.

Availability: I am now able to offer daytime sessions during school hours on Wednesday-Thursday.

Sessions will be 50-55 minutes long as I need to have a short break to transition to the next lesson.

I can offer evening sessions on Thursday with limited availability on other evenings and may be able to accommodate another time.
