I take a relaxed and friendly approach to tutoring English as I feel it is not a subject that can be forced. Students who struggle with English or want an extra bit of guidance to make their work stand out need one on one time with someone who can talk through ideas with them to develop those ideas into a higher standard of literary work.
Availability: Most weeknights when given adequate notice.
Willing to travel: 10 miles
Experience: I have an advanced higher qualification in English and am progressing through an English Language and Literature degree currently.

Laura is an amazing tutor, she has worked wonders with my daughter in such a short time preparing her for her prelims, my daughter has responded to her really well and we will definitely be asking her to continue after the prelims to prepare for her nationals.
