Information about Philip
I have been a Teacher and Head of Science for 27 years, I have taught a wide range of students to success in examinations worldwide. I am engaging, confident and passionate about my subject. I have a comprehensive knowledge of exam techniques and practical requirements. I have taught over 1000 lessons on tutor hunt and in the most recent GCSE examinations students attained mostly 7,8 or 9 grades. In the most recent A level examinations students attained B or A grades.
Availability: Weekend daytime and weekday evenings / daytimes in holidays by arrangement

Experience: I have tutored students to good grades in A level, IB, IGCSE, GCSE, UKCAT, BMAT examinations. I have taught Biology A level for 20 years and Chemistry A level for 11 years. I have taught all Sciences at GCSE/ IGCSE, and Mathematics at GCSE/IGCSE. Since April 2022 I have been a full time online science tutor and have tutored a large number of students to excellent grades in GCSE and A level examinations.

Philip style of teaching suited my son. We have contacted Philip 4 months before his GCSE exams. Philip tailored the teachings based topics my son lacked confidence. Once Chemistry topics are completed, Philip also helped Son in Biology and Physics, giving practical examples of the subject which I believe is best way to tutor. I will recommend Philip to any GCSE student.

Philip is a great teacher. He has helped my son to prepare for his A` level on the run up of the exam. His explanations are clear and he is very patient. My son has found him most helpful. He is also very flexible and was happy to arrange more lessons or, when needed, to rearrange some. His feedback to parents are detailed. He is happy to communicate with parents to support the child. I wish my son had started having lessons with Philip! Thank you Philip!

Philip taught my daughter A level chemistry and she has found him a joy to work with. He is very knowledgeable and explains difficult concepts in a way that anyone could understand, which helped my daughter a lot in improving her chemistry. I would highly recommend Philip to anyone looking for an A level chemistry tutor.
