I am proficient in all areas of psychology, research design and methods, study skills of all types and the use of SPSS. My areas of speciality are dreaming, the psychology of addiction, counselling and eco-therapy. I can teach all levels of psychology including AS Level, undergraduate, & postgraduates study.

I would be very keen to meet with a group of students from the same course to facilitate revision sessions or to help students understand and utilise research design and analysis.

Visiting a student in their home isn`t possible, but I am open to them coming to see me. I am also available for Skype sessions for those who live some distance away.

Experience: I have worked as a senior lecturer at a busy University in the South West of England. I was student nominated 2 years in a row, as providing the best student experience from over 500 academic staff. I have assessed postgraduate and undergraduate work, acted as a viva voce examiner and I am published in my field. I try to help all my students to reach their full potential. My teaching style is taken from the Vygotsky school of learning. I try to provide ideal conditions so that independent learning can take place. In essence, I support learning experiences and learning styles as fully as possible.
