Jasmine

I am approachable and experienced, having worked as a private tutor since 2012. Many of my previous students have gained places in Oxbridge and Russell group universities and all students have seen significant grade increases under my tuition. Currently I am a History of Art PhD student at the Courtauld Institute of Art. Prior to this, I studied BA Classical Archaeology and Ancient History at the University of Oxford and I also graduated with a distinction in MA History of Art from the Courtauld. For the past year I have worked as an Assistant Curator at the V&A Museum.

Availability: I am available on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 4pm onward.

Experience: Since 2012 I have worked as I private tutor. I am very encouraging and I like to quickly identify areas of existing knowledge in order to individually craft our tuition sessions to best suit every student. Developing revision techniques by showing the student practical and effective methods is an essential part of my lessons. I also believe that practice with past papers and mark schemes will significantly boost the confidence of students. Whether encouraging the development of personal opinions or improving grades, I hope to foster genuine enjoyment of the subject by using my own passions for literature and art to make my lessons more compelling.

Tutoring experience includes:
- Tutored AS and A-level English Literature, Art History and Classical Civilisation from 2014 to 2017.
- Tutored KS2 to GCSE level Maths from 2016 to 2017.
- Tutored BA Classical Archaeology to an undergraduate student in 2016.
- Tutored KS3 to GCSE level English Literature and Latin from 2012 to 2014.
