Information about Kerry
To help parents during the Coronavirus outbreak, I am offering group online lessons or one to one for Primary and Secondary School level students to have structured English and Maths lessons.
I teach maths and English at Key Stage level 1-4 and I also provide assignment writing mentoring at degree level.
I make lessons fun and engaging to keep pupil`s concentration and maintain their enjoyment for learning. I tailor each lesson to the needs of the student, ensuring they have a good understanding of the subject. I use question examples to aid understanding and apply methods with students to ensure they can recall how to solve maths and English problems.
I am a mum, so can relate to the frustrations children and parents experience when learning tricky subjects such as maths and English. I am currently teaching a pupil at Early Years Foundation Level and a student studying for her bachelor`s degree in Law.
Availability: Daily - to provide lessons during the Coronavirus outbreak.
Weekends and evenings during the working week. I also provide online tutoring.
Willing to travel: Home Only
Experience: I have studied pure maths and written communication at degree level. I apply these daily in my role as a Principal Transport Planner, which requires a strong understanding of maths and English.
I have an interest in how children develop their academic knowledge and I have 3 year`s experience of teaching children at primary school level, but I am happy to teach higher level students to GCSE. As previously mentioned, I am currently providing assignment writing mentoring to a student studying for her bachelor`s degree in Law.
I provide a fun, friendly and patient environment for students to learn and thrive. i am keen to also work with parents and schools to ensure the best outcomes for the student.
I provide lessons online or in person at my home.

It was simple enough to contact Kerry on TutorHunt, and I received a speedy reply from Kerry with regards to my enquiry for tutoring. My son has been receiving online tutoring lessons with Kerry in GCSE English Literature and more recently English Language and with Kerry`s help he has been progressing well and enjoys his weekly sessions. I too have recently received tutoring with Kerry to assist with my degree level studies. Kerry takes the time to prepare for lessons in advance and sends a lesson plan and follows up with lesson notes, she has a calm, patient, and engaging manner and explains things well, answering any questions, and addressing any difficulties as they arise throughout the session.
